Sheikh Hamdan says leadership places high priority on youth development

Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the leadership places high priority on the development of youth, as they are the builders of the future, and to reflect the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Hamdan said that the UAE prepares its youth to acquire the right skills of advanced sciences that allows them to build a brighter future of the country. “Youth are full of energy, determination and power. With their abilities, we will achieve our objectives, as they are the tomorrow’s leaders, and with their ideas and accomplishments we will achieve our objectives,” Sheikh Hamdan said. “UAE youth have left their positive foot prints all over the country, they are the pride of the nation. They are scientists, inventors and air space scientists.. they live their reality, and draw lessons from past experiences, they innovate for a brighter future for their nation and for the humanity.”  

His Highness’ remark came as Emirates Youth Council and Dubai Executive Council  unveiled 2nd edition of Dubai Youth Council, which includes 7 members selected based on their scientific qualifications and practical experiences.

Minister of State for Youth and Chairperson of Emirates Youth Council Shamma Suhail Faris Al Mazroui, commended the efforts of members of first edition of Dubai Youth Council, which helped cementing the role of youth in Dubai.
