UAE to host Summit on Global Agenda

In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE will host the Summit on the Global Agenda between 9-11 November 2014, bringing together more than 1,000 experts from around the world.

Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Summit on Global Agenda said, "The strategic role played by the UAE in discussing global challenges and finding ideal solutions on various global issues highlights the leading position the country has achieved under the wise leadership globally.

Hosting this prestigious event for the seventh consecutive year reflects the success of the U.A.E. in hosting a global gathering that brings together the world’s foremost thinkers and professionals here, added Al Gergawi.

The summit will host global thought leaders who will meet and interact to draw on the best knowledge resources to address pressing problems facing humanity. The summit will recommend solutions that can be integrated into the international decision-making processes.

The summit will also present excellent opportunities for leading U.A.E. innovators and thinkers to engage with their counterparts from all over the world.

The outcome of the Global Agenda Meeting forms the basis of the Annual World Economic Forum to be held in Davos 2015.
