Hamdan bin Mohammed attends 'Spirit of Union' celebrations

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Tuesday attended the ‘Spirit of the Union’ celebrations in Dubai, marking UAE’s 44th National Day.

The glittering celebrations on water included several shows that highlighted the evolution of the UAE, the achievements and culture, reported Al Bayan.

On the occasion, Sheikh Hamdan offered his deepest congratulations to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Rulers of the Emirates.

Sheikh Hamdan prayed to Almighty to preserve the unity of the UAE, its glory and splendor.

Sheikh Hamdan celebrating National Day under the theme ‘Spirit of the Union’ reflects the prosperity the nation enjoys and the determination and fulfillment of its people.

“We cannot forget to remember the role of our founding fathers the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who laid the foundation for a strong state that ensured happiness to its citizens,” Sheikh Hamdan said.

Sheikh Hamadan was accompanied by Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai International Marine Club, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airlines and Chief Executive of Emirates Group among other dignitaries.
