Hospital chief tries to hit employee with shoe

Saudi authorities are questioning a hospital manager accused of trying to hit an employee with his shoe following an argument, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

The Saudi employee, identified as AK, filed a complaint to the police accusing the manager of the hospital in the southern province of Jazan of taking off his shoe and threatening to hit his face with it, Ajel said.

It said police summoned the hospital manager to question him about the reasons for this threat against the employee.
“We are still investigating this case and are questioning the manager and witnesses to verify the accusations,” police spokesman Major Abdul Rahman Al Zahrani said.
