Courtside and DMCC Royal Box ticketholders for the Kobe Bryant Health & Fitness Weekend celebrity basketball game, presented by DMCC, are in for a treat on September 27 with organisers confirming that Bryant will be attending the pre-game reception at American University in Dubai.
The reception is being held 90 minutes prior to the start of the highly anticipated celebrity basketball game and will be attended by Kobe Bryant and the celebrity game players. The announcement has made these already coveted seats the hottest ticket in town.
DMCC Royal Box tickets sold out within a week of the tickets going on sale and only a handful of courtside tickets, which are priced at Dh5,000, are still available.
In addition to getting to mingle with Bryant and the celebrity game players, the price tag comes with a host of benefits for the lucky fans quick enough to purchase them before they sell out.
The premium tickets include access to the post-game autograph signing session by the Real Madrid basketball legends team immediately following the game; and a backpack, courtesy of Nike.
Nike is a global sponsor of Bryant’s and is supporting the basketball superstar’s first appearance in the Middle East. The backpack will include premium gift items from some of the event partners.
On his first trip to the Middle East, Bryant will be coaching a celebrity team, fittingly called Team Black Mamba, who will be taking on the Real Madrid basketball legends.
Fans from all over the region have been snapping up tickets for the first celebrity basketball game to be held in this part of the world with demand especially high for the premium seats.
The Kobe Bryant Health & Fitness Weekend, which is presented by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and organized by Maven Marketing & Events, comprises activities spread over September 26 and 27.
A youth basketball clinic will be held in Abu Dhabi on September 26. The highlight of the weekend is the celebrity basketball game in which Bryant’s celebrity team, fittingly called Team Black Mamba, will take on the Real Madrid basketball legends. Kobe Bryant will coach the celebrity team wearing a wireless microphone.
The match is being held at the American University of Dubai on September 27. Tickets went on sale last week at timeouttickets.com.
