Hubby gang-rapes expat wife with friends

Colombo - A man is accused of abducting his wife and another person, taking them to Madunagala jungle in Sooriyawewa, and gang-raping the wife with several of his friends.

The young woman, raped by her husband, is said to be an apparel worker. Police said the wife worked abroad and both the victims had been abducted in a motor cab.

He is also accused of torturing her, according to a complaint received by the Hungama police, ‘Lanka Hot News’ reported.

Three suspects have been arrested with a video of the rape on a mobile phone.

The young woman has been hospitalised while the Sooriyawewa and Hungama police have launched a manhunt for the husband.
