All ye iPhone fans in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah – your wait for the official availability of the hot-selling new iPhones from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c, is over.

It will be in three weeks anyways, as the Cupertino-based firm has confirmed that the new handy candies from Apple will be officially available in the country from November 1 onwards.

And for those who just bought the new iPhones from local online sites or at the ongoing Gitex Shopper 2013 for as high as Dh5,999 for the 16GB gold iPhone 5s or Dh2,299 for the 16GB iPhone 5c, here’s some (heartbreaking) news: industry sources tell Emirates 24|7 that the new phones could be officially available for as low as Dh2,199 for the 16GB iPhone 5c and Dh2,599 for the 16GB iPhone 5s (yes, including the gold version).

Apple has officially announced that the iPhone 5s and the colourful iPhone 5c will be available in more than a dozen countries on Friday, November 1, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Mexico.

In fact, a week before the launch here, the new iPhones will be available on Friday, October 25, in more than 25 additional countries, including Italy, Russia, and Spain.

The new iPhone 5s introduces the fingerprint-lock, or Touch ID, and is Apple’s fastest selling smartphone yet even as analysts are not so kicked about the sales of the colourful iPhone 5c, which they believe isn’t priced cheap enough to entice new, non-Apple customers.

iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c both come with Apple’s new operating system, the iOS 7, which boasts of plenty of new features, including AirDrop and iTunes Radio, a free Internet radio service based on the music users listen to on iTunes.

Apple has said that iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c and cases for both phones will be available through the Apple Online Store, the company’s retail stores and select authorized resellers. Every customer who buys an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c at an Apple retail store will be offered free Personal Setup service, helping them customize their iPhone by setting up email, showing them new apps from the App Store.

Besides the UAE and Saudi Arabia, iPhone 5s and 5c will be available on Friday, November 1, in Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, and Turkey.

Both the phones are currently available in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.

The new Apple smartphones will also be available on Friday, October 25 in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.
