A Saudi judge threatened to take action against his court employees for shaving their beards and wearing transparent clothes, saying their behavior offends the court, according to the local press.

The head of the court in Houtat bani Tameem near the capital Riyadh said his staff members committed nine offences at work, adding that  they negatively affected court proceedings.

“In a circular, the head of the court threatened to take action against those employees.

“He listed nine offences committed by them, including shaving their beards, wearing transparent clothes, chatting loudly about football matches and other subjects that are not related to their work.

“The judge considered that such actions showed their non-respect of the court and its management,” Sharq Arabic language daily said.

“The circular also noticed that some employees bring their iPads and other sets to court, exchange messages and neglect court visitors.”
