Khor Fakkan-Dafta road work in progress

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has stressed that the infrastructure and roads projects carried out by the emirate of Sharjah were in line with its policy to provide the best road network for the people.

During his visit to the Shes area to inspect the progress of work of Khor Fakkan-Shes-Dafta Road Project, Sheikh Sultan said the construction work has been completed in some tunnels leading to Khor Fakkan and Dafta and work to develop and upgrade them to the required level has begun.

He also indicated that there would be two-way roads to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and safety of people.  He was also briefed on the progress of work in the current phase and plans for the upcoming phases. It is deemed one of the most important road projects in the emirate.
