Kuwait police arrested a lawyer for biting off his wife’s ear following a heated argument triggered by mutual accusations of disloyalty, the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Alanba reported on Sunday.
The wife had to undergo a surgery at a local private hospital to restore the bitten part of her ear while the unnamed lawyer suffered from scratches in the face after his wife tried to defend herself, the paper said.
“The prosecutor decided to detain the lawyer for 15 days for investigation,” it said without making clear if the wife faces any charges.
