Man dies during chase of fleeing Eid sheep

An Asian man in his 50s died of exhaustion in Saudi Arabia after chasing a sheep which ran off to escape being slaughtered for Eid Al Adha (feast of sacrifice).

The man had sharpened his knife and prepared to tie up the sheep near his house in the Western Red Sea port of Yanbu but the animal managed to run away.

“The sheep ran into a big garden and the Asian kept chasing it….he later collapsed and died and the sheep escaped,” Sabq daily said.
