Husband locked up wife in the bathroom for 3 years

A 25-year old woman was locked in a bathroom for three years by her husband in the Indian state of Bihar, Fox News Latino

The couple got married in 2010 and soon after the husband and his family members began torturing her and demanding for dowry. 

Her situation became worse after she gave birth to a girl child, whom she was not allowed meet during her 3-years of captivity.

The victim’s father filed a complaint against the husband and the in-laws as they threatened him and prevented him from seeing his daughter.

When police reached the house, they noticed that the women was kept in a “small place” and was fed irregularly.

She was wearing tattered clothes, had overgrown finger nails and unkempt hair.

After being rescued by the police the victim asked for her three year old daughter.

The lady was in tears and was inconsolable when her daughter did not recognize her own mother.
