Mohammed, Gen. Mohamed offer condolences for UAE martyr Al Kaabi

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today offered condolences to the family of 1st. Lieutenant Abdul Aziz Sarhan Saleh Al Kaabi who was martyred while performing his national duty as part of "Operation Restore Hope" of the Arab alliance aimed at supporting the brotherly people of Yemen and the legitimate government there.

Condolences were also offered by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said the UAE was proud of martyr Abdul Aziz Al Kaabi and the sacrifices made by the UAE’s loyal citizens who sought to support their brothers and defend their just causes.

Earlier Story: The body of martyr First Lieutenant Abdul Aziz Saleh Sarhan Al Kaabi arrived this evening at the Bateen Airport aboard in Abu Dhabi, on board a military plane, accompanied by a number of armed forces officers.

At the arrival, special military ceremony was held to receive the body of the martyr at the airport in the presence of number of senior armed forces officers.

First Lt. Al Kaabi was killed while on duty within the forces participating in Operation Restoring Hope, an Arab coalition-led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to back the legitimate government of Yemen.

Earlier, the UAE General Command of the Armed Forces today announced death of one its officers while performing his national duty with the participating forces of the Operation Restoring Hope Coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, to support the legitimate government in Yemen.

The martyred officer was Lieutenant Abdul Aziz Sarhan Saleh Al Ka'abi.
