Morning 4-car accident; expect 30-min delays

Morning rush hour traffic returns to the city post the Eid-Al-Adha break with a four-car accident reported, en route to the Trade Centre underpass, heading towards Jebel Ali.
 
The four-car pile-up was reported around 8am, on Sheikh Rashid Road, opposite Wafi Shopping Mall.
 
An eye witness told Emirates 24|7: “I was stuck near Al Garhoud Bridge for nearly 30 minutes. Expecting the worst, I passed a four-car fender bender, involving a taxi, a minivan and two cars.
 
“The delays were being caused because of rubberneckers stopping to gawk at the accident.”
 
Meanwhile, no other serious traffic issues have been reported this morning across Dubai.
