The 48-year-old Emirati martyr Sultan Al Ka’abi is one of those who were did their best to protect the UAE, his brother Saif Obaid Al Ka’abi told ‘Emarat Al Youm’.

“We are not only very proud of our martyrs, but also our leadership that stands with the citizens in the darkest of circumstances,” he said,  adding that his brother, the martyr Sultan Al-Ka’abi, was protecting what is right in Yemen.

Saif said, “My brother was a beacon to us where he had wished the martyrdom and was chosen to be among the martyrs in heaven.”

He added that the UAE leadership has spared no efforts in standing by and supporting the families of martyrs.

He remembered the night they received the news of the martyrdom of his brother.

"The martyr Sultan phoned his wife the night he died, like he was near to Allah and he asked for his sons one by one; and asked her to tell them that he loves them.”

He added that his wife told us that she felt that the tone of his voice was different, as if he wanted to tell her something.
He said that his mother had been asking about the martyr Sultan every day and when she knew that he was martyred she expressed pride in her son, despite the sadness.
