Neighbourhood in shock to find body hanging on street [video]

A 38-year-old Egyptian, identified as Ashraf Saber Saleeb, committed suicide by hanging himself from the window of the flat he lives in.

However, much to the surprise, shock and chagrin of passersby in the neighbourhood – he hung himself facing the street. According to a report in ‘Al Youm Al Sabea’a’ the victim was living in a flat with workmates, on the 40th avenue in a city in the Sharqia governorate.

The report says he was suffering financial problems. The police received a report from people in the area that a body was hanging in a building.

The police rushed to the spot and when they questioned his colleagues, they found that he entered the room, closed the door and nobody knew what had happened till they heard people from the street screaming.

The body was taken to a hospital morgue and ongoing investigations are still on.
