Gerald's exes Sarah, Kim allegedly becoming BFFs

The matinee idol Gerald Anderson has nothing to say about the budding friendship between his two exes, Kim Chiu and Sarah Geronimo.

“It’s none of my business,” he said when asked by entertainment writers. You may ask them.  Let’s just all be happy for each other.”

Well, like his current flame, Maja Salvador, he must have reason to be happy.

Their relationship has been going strong, showbiz insiders say, since he admitted a few months back that he was indeed seeing Salvador, who used to be Chiu’s BFF and now her costar in ABS-CBN drama series, ‘Ina, Kapatid, Anak’ (Mother, Sibling, Child).

“We should be peaceful always,” Anderson recently told Allan Policarpio, who writes entertainment stories for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. “This world has so much problems, so let’s not exacerbate things.”

Salvador, who belongs to a big clan of actors, was willing to lose her BFF in exchange for her happiness with Anderson. She once said that she didn’t care what other people would say for as long as she was happy with the matinee idol.

Showbiz watchers said it’s Geronimo who is hurting more than Chiu, considering that it was she who had dumped Anderson upon the instigation of her mother, known in tinsel town as Mummy Divine.

Considered by showbiz people as a stage-mother, Mummy Divine had wanted her singer-actress daughter Geronimo to stay away from Anderson, as he was a womaniser, for the good of her career.
