Hollywood action star Vin Diesel arrives in Manila

Hollywood action star Vin Diesel and the other cast members of ‘Fast and Furious 6’ are in Manila for the premiere of their action blockbuster on Wednesday night at the SM Mall of Asia, in Pasay City.
 
Fans tweeted their photos of the buffed and head-shaven actor, who supposedly arrived in Manila on Monday night on a private plane, in walking shorts, white undershirt, and rubber shoes strolling in malls around Metro Manila.

It added that another photo from Twitter user Diana Gatmaytan showed Diesel interacting with his fans at the Glorietta Mall, in Metro Manila’s business district of Makati.

“Manila is part of a talent world tour that includes stops in other global cities, including London, Seoul, and [the Mexican state of] Cabo San Lucas,” GBX Philippines, sponsor of the premiere night, said in a statement on Tuesday.

It added, “This bit of good news comes on the heels of Manila receiving global exposure in 2012 as one of the main location backdrops for the Hollywood action-thriller ‘The Bourne Legacy’.”

‘Fast and Furious 6’ is slated to open in the Philippines on May 24.
