'Pretty' cop viral on Facebook after 'Kerala posting' rumour

A woman IPS trainee officer in India has sent social media abuzz with her good looks.

Merin Jospeh, who passed civil services examination in 2012, underwent a two-week training in Kochi – a city in Kerala, reported Deccan Chronicle.

However, rumours on Facebook stated that she has taken charge as the new Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Kochi, which led to a deluge of comments from users. Some even claiming they wouldn’t mind being arrested by her.

Her Facebook photo attracted 10,000 ‘likes’ in a day, and then shared many more times. The photo also went viral on WhatsApp, according to the report.

Jospeh, at last, posted a clarification that she is not the new ACP of Kochi and that she is still under training in Hyderabad  and would update when she gets her first charge in January next year.
