Pump attendants forge invoice for a Dh5 bribe

An Indian restaurant driver allegedly offered Dh5 bribe to petrol station attendants every time they supplied him with petrol.
 
They filled invoices that were higher than the actual amount, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
 
JB, 43, embezzled Dh193, the difference between the value of the actually filled petrol and what the invoices showed.
 
The station attendants involved in the case were all from Nepal and one from Myanmar and were aged between 22 and 29 years.
 
They were accused of asking and accepting Dh5 bribes in addition to forging and using forged invoices.
 
The court will reconvene on August 24.
