Rain and cloudy weather forecast in the UAE
The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has cautioned motorists to be more careful while driving.
Drivers have been asked to observe traffic rules because of the low horizontal visibility in various parts of the country.
Roads conditions might get slippery due to rain. In a statement, NCMS has also cautioned residents against sea clubbing due to rough weather and high waves.
Dubai experienced overcast sky on Thursday morning.
UAE weather is expected to be partly cloudy in general, to cloudy at times over some areas. Some light rainfall is also expected during the morning. Slight fall in day temperatures is also likely.
Moderate to fresh winds in general, causing blowing dust/sand, and may reduce the horizontal visibility at times over the open land areas.
Fresh Nothwestly winds and rough sea wave height going up to 4-6ft offshore on Thursday has been reported.
The temperature recorded early on Thursday were: Abu Dhabi max 30C° and min 20C°, Dubai recorded max 31C° and min 22C° and Sharjah recorded max 31C° and min 19C°
On Friday, UAE will experience partly cloudy weather. The amount of clouds is expected to increase gradually over the western areas, with possible light rain during the night.
