3 dead camels cut open for suspected drugs

Kuwaiti port authorities slashed open three dead camels within a livestock shipment after suspecting drugs were stuffed inside their bellies.

The three were among 320 camels and other animals which arrived in Doha port in the Gulf emirate from the UAE, according to the Kuwaiti daily Al Watan.

“The three dead camels had their bellies open to check whether there were drugs inside,” the paper said.
