6,000 drug pills found inside frozen chicken

Kuwaiti police have arrested an Arab visitor who tried to smuggle more than 6,000 drug pills inside frozen chicken, Alanba newspaper said on Sunday.

Airport customs inspectors suspected the unidentified man after he appeared “confused” and tried to leave the baggage hall quickly, the paper said.

After searching his bag, they found several frozen chicken containing the drugs. “More than 6,000 pills were hidden inside the bellies of the chickens,” Kuwaiti Airport Manager Suleiman Al Fahd said.
