Saudi police arrested a local man carrying a banner bearing the words “free hug” in a public place, the second such incident in the conservative Gulf Kingdom in two days.

Police rushed to the area after receiving calls that a young man was carrying a banner bearing those words in English and walking near the entrance of a gynecology and obstetrics hospital in the western town of Medina.

“The man was stopped and arrested and would be investigated before standing trial,” Sabq newspaper said, quoting police spokesman Colonel Fahd Al Ghannam.

A little Saudi school girl died of heart attack during a drill to evict the building because of a presumed fire, a newspaper in the Gulf kingdom reported on Sunday.

Wahab Al Shammari, a student at the primary school in the Northwestern town of Tabuk, fainted and collapsed after school girls were asked to walk out of their class rooms on hearing the fire siren in the building, Al Hayat Arabic language daily said.

“She was rushed to hospital by an ambulance waiting outside for the drill…but she died on the way,” the paper said.

It quoted her uncle Khaled Al Shammari as saying that Wahab had suffered from “fear” in her life and that her father was not told about the drill.

“My brother is in a bad psychological state because of the loss of his daughter…the school management should have told the students’ parents to they would explain to their children what the school intended to do,” he said.

Al Hayat did not specify Wahab’s age but said she was survived by three younger sisters and a brother.
