A two-year-old Saudi boy died in hospital and his uncle accused his father of causing his death by torturing him, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
The baby was admitted to hospital in the southern province of Jazan with bruises all over his body and his father told police the boy was hit by a car on the road, Sharq Arabic language daily said.
"But the boy's uncle told police the boy died because he had been tortured by his father…he said the father had tortured his son many times before," it said, adding that police were investigating the uncle's charges.
