Saudi police arrested a Syrian barber after they found out by accident that he is involved in pimping, press reports said on Sunday.
Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice caught the man while working at his saloon in violation of existing rules for all shops to shut down during prayers.
The members of the feared Commission on a routine patrol arrested the unnamed barber in the central town of Makkah, shut down his business and took him away in their car, Sabq daily said.
“As they took him in their car, the barber tried to dispose of his mobile phone by hiding it under the seat but they saw him,” it said.
“When they looked into it, they found a film of the barber while having sex with a woman and 146 pictures of naked women and names of some of them…during investigation, he confessed to having sex with many girls and to practicing pimping.”
