Boy forgotten in class after shutdown jumps from 2nd floor

Saudi boy suffers from face bruises and broken nose after jumping through window

A little Saudi school boy jumped out of the window from his class in the second floor after he was forgotten inside and the school was shut for the day.

The boy in the first primary class was told by his teacher to finish his assigned work in class before the teacher and the other pupils left class.

When he finished his work, the boy went down and headed for the school gate but it was locked before realizing that the school has closed and no one is left inside,

“Scared, he headed back to his class in the second floor…he pushed a table towards the window and climbed up…he then jumped down,” Sabq Arabic language daily said in a report from the western Saudi town of Taif.

“He suffered from many bruises in the face and a broken nose…he also could not move and stayed lying there for a few hours until his uncle came looking for him and saw him lying there…his uncle climbed over the wall and took his nephew to hospital.”

The paper said the uncle filed a complaint to education authorities over the incident, for which he blamed the boy’s teacher and the school management.
