Child attacked by monkeys in park

Monkeys attacked a 13-year-old Saudi boy while he was playing alone at a park in the Gulf Kingdom, causing serious injuries to his legs, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The boy was with his family at the park in the Southern town of Baha before going to play in a nearby tree-covered area on his own.

"Several monkeys entered that area and attacked the boy….his parents rushed him to the hospital with severe injuries to his legs," Ajel Arabic language daily said, adding that the monkeys had apparently come from nearby hills.
