Child kills younger sister by mistake

A Saudi eight-year-old child killed his younger sister when he accidentally pulled the trigger of a gun he was playing with in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The girl was rushed to hospital in the southern province of Mikhwat but she was already dead, Kabar Arabic language daily said.

“The bullet hit her in the upper right part of her chest…her parents told police it was an accident as her brother was playing with the father’s gun and did not know it was loaded,” the paper added without specifying the girl’s age.
