Dad rapes little daughter for 10 years

A Saudi father raped his little daughter for nearly 10 years before he was arrested by the police and the girl was taken to the social service centre.

The unnamed father had first confessed to raping his daughter since she was a child until she was 13 years old and was sentenced to death by a court in the capital Riyadh. But before his execution, he denied the rape charges, prompting the judge to reduce the sentence to 13 years in prison and 2,000 lashes.

The court sentence this week immediately triggered angry reactions from the public, according to ‘Ajel’ newspaper, which said scores of readers called for his execution.
