Drug addict offers wife in exchange for pill

A Saudi narcotics addict offered his wife to a friend in exchange for a drug pill, prompting her to go to the police, a local newspaper reported on Monday.

The unidentified wife in the Eastern town of Dammam filed an official complaint with the police and the family guidance centre against her husband, whom she said was addicted to drugs, the Arabic language Sharq newspaper said.

“She said he gave her to his friend as a present in exchange for a drug pill,” the paper said, adding that the incident has prompted intervention by the Prince of the Eastern region Mohammed bin Fahd.
