Farmer captures owl thinking it's falcon

An Egyptian farmer in Saudi Arabia captured an owl and wanted to sell it for SR10,000 (Dh9,900), thinking it’s a rare falcon.

A YouTube film published in the Saudi Arabic language daily Sharq showed two Saudi men pretending to be customers were bargaining with the man to sell it to them for SR5,000 but he refused.

“The two Saudis knew it’s an owl but they bargained with the farmer for fun,” the paper said in a report from north Saudi Arabia.
