Girl in jeans riding bike in Saudi

A girl wearing jeans pants and a head helmet was caught on camera riding a motorcycle with a man on a busy street in Saudi Arabia in violation of rules which ban women from going out without wearing an abaya (gown).

The incident came a few days after two women were seen walking without abaya in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah. Another girl wearing a tight trousers and a T-shirt was seen crossing the road in the capital Riyadh.

A YouTube film shot by a passer-by showed the helmeted woman sat behind the motorcyclist and surrounding his waist with her arms.

'Sada' Arabic language newspaper which published the film said it was taken near a shopping mall in Riyadh.

“It seems that girls going out without a head cover or abaya became intentional and organized for some reasons,” the paper said.
