Girl thrown off balcony after failed rape attempt

An Egyptian man threw a 23-year-old girl off the balcony of a third floor in Cairo after he failed to rape her, newspapers in the Arab country reported.

The girl told police that the man sneaked into her apartment and tried to rape her but she resisted his attempts.

After failing to undress and rape her, the man carried the girl and hurled her down, causing her to suffer from various fractures.

Newspapers said the man who was arrested later denied the charges and told police the girl jumped off her balcony.
