Gulf Cup: Man dies after Yemen's loss to Saudi

A Yemeni man died after his country’s national football team lost to Saudi Arabia within the Gulf Cup games being held in the oil-rich Gulf kingdom.

Qayed Al Mimari was watching the match on television at his home in the southwestern Yemeni town of Dalei when he collapsed after Saudi scored a goal.

“He suffered from a heart attack and was rushed to hospital…he died just after he was admitted to the hospital,” the Saudi daily ‘Sada’ said, citing Yemen’s press.
