Mortar shells fired by Yemen's Houthi militia across the border into Saudi Arabia killed three Saudi Royal Land Forces non-commissioned officers and wounded two others in the southern Jazan province on Friday, an official source at the Saudi Defence Ministry said on Saturday in a statement carried by the Saudi state news agency, SPA.
The statement said more than 500 Houthi fighters have been killed in clashes on the border in Najran and Jazan since Operation Decisive Storm was launched on March 26.
"The situation there is stable", the source added.
