'Immoral' girl dies two days after repenting

A rich Saudi girl who spent most of her life in immoral and obscene acts died while praying just two days after she repented, a newspaper said on Thursday.

The unnamed girl went to a well-known Islamic scholar in the Gulf Kingdom on Saturday and asked him to reach her how to pray, adding that she repented at his hands.

“Since she repented and quit the life of immorality and debauchery, the girl could not stop crying…as she knelt to pray on Monday, she dropped dead,” the papers said, quoting the local TV channel Bedaya.

The papers said the channel did not specify the girl’s age or say where she lived in Saudi Arabia.
