A Saudi prisoner used his clothes to wrap his neck and hang himself in the prison’s toilet in the Gulf kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.
‘Sabq’ quoted prison officials in the Western town of Qaryat as saying guards found the man hanging in the toilet on Monday evening.
“We rushed him to the medical centre but he was already dead…we are investigating the case,” it said, quoting Major Abdullah Al Harbi, Assistant Director, Prisons Department, Saudi Arabia.
