A four-year-old Saudi girl died after she was accidentally shot by her 11-year-old brother while playing with his father’s gun.
The two were playing at their house in the southern province of Asir when the boy went later to his father’s drawer and got the gun.
“He started fiddling with the pistol while his sister was watching him…..he then pulled the trigger and the pistol fired,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Okaz said.
It said the girl was rushed to hospital for an urgent operation before she was admitted to the intensive car unit. Four hours later she died.
