Saudi authorities shut down a cutlery factory for cheating customers by selling home-made glasses as produced in France.
Inspectors from the ministry of trade and industry discovered the offences during a surprise visit to the factory in the capital Riyadh.
“The ministry decided to shut down the factory after it discovered that it produces glasses and writes on them ‘Made in France,” Ajel daily said.
