Maid caught with baby says she found him

A Saudi man suspecting that he heard a baby crying in the housemaid’s bedroom pushed his way into the room and there he was-- a newborn baby boy. When he asked the Asian maid how she got that baby, she simply said she found him near a shop.

"The man quickly phoned the police who came and took both the maid and the baby,” Alsaudi newspaper said in a report from the northeastern town of Hafr Al Batin.

"At the police station, the maid insisted that she was shopping in the neighbourbood when she stumbled across the baby……she said she carried him and took him home.”

The paper said police handed the baby to the hospital for examination while the maid would be questioned further.
