An Asian housemaid who jumped from the second floor in suicide attempt in Saudi Arabia took her employer with her when he tried to stop her.
The maid had just climbed up the window at her employer’s house in the Western Red Sea port of Yanbu when a member of the Saudi employing family caught her.
“But she jumped and her Saudi employer went down with her. They were both taken to hospital,” 'Sabq' newspaper said.
It quoted police as saying the maid is suffering from depression and would be tried on charges of trying to kill herself.
