Man dies while praying at Grand Mosque

A Saudi man died as he knelt down for prayers at the Grand Mosque in the western Saudi town of Makkah, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

A police man rushed towards the man to try and rescue him but found that he was already dead, Ajel Arabic language daily said.

“The security man tried to save the man and also called the ambulance but death was quicker,” the paper said without mentioning the man’s age or how he died.
