A Saudi thief stole a jeep, parked it near a cash teller machine and used a massive metal role to rip the machine off and take it away.
His daring attempt in the middle of the day did not succeed so he tried again and again without paying attention to the large crowd that gathered around him. Nor did he think of the silent alarm that brought police right to the place.
“They arrested him but a friend who helped him managed to flee and the police are searching for him,” Alwatan Arabic language newspaper reported on Thursday from the northwestern town of Tabuk.
