Mum stabs drunk son who tried to assault her

A Saudi mother stabbed her teenaged drunk son after trying to assault her, causing medium injuries in his neck, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The mother then called a cab, carried her son to the car and took him to the hospital, where doctors saved his life.

The mother told police that she stabbed her son after he tried to hit her at their home in the western Saudi town of Taif.

“The mother told police she was defending herself but said she had forgiven her son for what he tried to do to her,” Ajel newspaper said.
