Lexus 4x4 crash: Couple die on their honeymoon

A newly-wed Saudi couple died in a traffic accident in Jordan as they headed back home after finishing their honeymoon.

The man was driving his four-wheel Lexus back home with his wife on a desert motorway when he rammed into a truck, the Saudi daily 'Arar' said.

It quoted police as saying the head-on crash was caused after the truck driver made a sudden swerve on the road in the Arab country.

“The man and his wife had just finished their honeymoon and were heading back home in Saudi Arabia,” the paper said.
