Patient finds cat… not doctor

A Saudi patient visiting hospital in the Gulf Kingdom was shocked when he found a cat instead of a doctor inside the clinic.

Instead of waiting for the doctor or complaining to the management at the King Abdullah Hospital in the southern town of Bisha, the man pulled out his mobile phone and shot a brief film, which he placed on U-Tube and sent to local newspapers.

The film, published by Sabq daily, showed the cat was fast asleep on the doctor’s chair while the orthopedics clinic was completely empty.

“The doctor was apparently late on that day while the nurses were afraid to go into the clinic because of the cat....a hospital employee later came and carried the cat out,” the Arabic language paper said.
