A Kuwaiti woman who saw a man carrying another person with a bleeding nose and dumping him into his car in a public place quickly phoned the police to tell them she has just witnessed a kidnap operation. But the woman later realized she got mixed up between a kidnap and a rescue attempt.
“When the police stopped the man after the woman gave them his car’s number, he told them that this person was drunk and was beaten by some unknown men… so he carried him in his car to take him to the hospital,” the Kuwait Arabic language daily Alanba said on Saturday.
“After the man’s claims were confirmed, the woman apologized to him and to the police, saying she thought it was a kidnap operation.”
