Rebuffed gays beat up female salon owner

Four gays beat up a beauty salon owner in Kuwait after she refused to let them in though they told her they are not interested in women, a local daily said Sunday.

The four tried to enter the salon in Raqei area in Kuwait City to get make-up but the Kuwaiti owner insisted she can not allow them into a female beauty shop on the grounds they are men, the Arabic language newspaper Alanba said.

“They told her there is no harm letting them in because they do not like women anyway….they tried to pay her in advance but again she refused, prompting them to attack her and beat her up,” the paper said.

It said the four had been arrested by police on charges of assault and damaging property. “They were also faced with the more serious charge, which is imitating the opposite sex,” Alanba said.
