S. Korean held in Kuwait for making liquor

Kuwaiti police arrested a South Korean man on charges of running a home liquor factory in the oil-rich Gulf emirate.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house suspected of making alcoholic drinks and arrested the South Korean man. They also seized more than 600 home-made liquor bottles and equipment used in making the products.

'Al Watan' daily said police were searching for other Asian involved in this illegal trade.
